Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles #1) by Marissa Meyer

Geeky About Books Review:

This book in my world is a Master Piece. The writer, Marissa Meyer managed to capture the essence of cinderella’s old time love with a Syfy twist in a futuristic way. Cinder is a teenage girl who through reasons she does not know, is part cyborg.  This would be cool if she was a super hero but in this dystopian society, cyborgs are considered as second rate and are even sold and bought as slaves (commodity). To add to the story, she is a super cool mechanic who can challenge any professional mechanics and is even considered gifted.

This book has it all; A mysterious past and an evil step mother and step sister, A gorgeous prince 🙂 🙂 (yeah!!) and a surprise turn out that i believe you need to read to find out.

So if you are planning on putting a book on your to do list this year, please put this one. And for those who can’t wait, send me a shout out on Mail/Whatsapp and i will send you the ebook for free!

Review form Goodreads:

Humans and androids crowd the raucous streets of New Beijing. A deadly plague ravages the population. From space, a ruthless lunar people watch, waiting to make their move. No one knows that Earth’s fate hinges on one girl.

Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s illness. But when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome Prince Kai’s, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction. Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world’s future.
