Have you ever wondered what would happen if a writer wrote a book on Vampires and the Amish community together? Well, you get a great unique paranormal story! 🙂
Let me start by saying it took me 3 months for me to open the cover of this book. But once i did, i finished it within a day! and that is saying something since i was in Diani on a holiday! 🙂 🙂
This book is for all lovers of futuristic dystopian societies where the community views the world in archaic or odd rules. Katie is a sixteen year old amish girl who has been waiting her whole life for Rumspringa. Her best friend Elijah is also her family’s chosen as her betrothed but Katie has her own ideas. She doesn’t love him as a lover, more like a friend.
Rumours are creating unrest among the community as news of the ending of the world reach them. The elders don’t want to believe it and even when faced with a live vampire, they put it off as evil. Only their heixelmeister will save them as he creates small eh but this book gives a reality take of what happens when people are faced with the reality of the undead.
Of course their is love :), when Katie meets the hot and much older Alex from the outside, the word temptation gets a whole new meaning! 🙂
