Book Lovers Café

The Girl (Guardians #1) by Lola St.Vil

Our Review: 4.1 Stars

This book makes you feel like you are watching a Mexican soap opera! I had so many mixed feelings reading this; Swoon when i think of Marcus and his yummy self, laughter when Rio and Jay are having a bro moment, crying, when Jay .. erm (No spoilers! hah), angry when Emmy the main character is so annoying! It was an endless roller coaster but I loved every moment of it 🙂 .

Well, this is one of those book series when you might actually hate the main characters. But good news, in other books, the other amazing characters get their own show, and don’t we just love Meana 🙂 🙂

Check out goodreads review and see what other readers think. Don’t worry, their bio is a bit short, but i promise you this series, is to die for! 🙂

After his death, Marcus found the love of his life…

Unfortunately it’s not his sexy, telekinetic angel girlfriend — it’s Emmy Baxter… a human.

Between torture, demon attacks, and midterms, Marcus and Emily must fight their feelings for a devastating prophecy has predicted:

“Should Angel and Human unite, humanity will perish.”
